I was checking my coolant today and it looks cloudy almost yellowish. Stirred it up a little and it was a green color under that cloud. Is that oil mixing in?
    Any comments would help

No, just crud. I did a flush last night on my Alfa and thought the same thing. When I Stirred it the crud mixed right in with the coolant. To text, I poured a capful of motor oil into the same coolant. The motor oil would not mix in and was clearly oil. My crud was more light brown than yellow though.

What exactly is that system? The write says it tears for leaks and air locks.

It is a valve that attaches to your radiator fill cap. You use compressed from an air compressor to form a vacuum. It would tell you if you have any leaks as it would not be able to hold the vacuum measure constant.

It is mostly used during a coolant change, as it forces the new coolant throughout the system and purges any air locks out. Works great.
