level might be a bit low. When I unscrew the cap and look in there I can see coolant but it seems to be way down at the bottom. How do I know how much to put in to top it off to the correct level?

Also...I am using Prestone 50/50 pre-diluted antifreeze/ coolant. That works fine right?

Thanks...and good luck to Kimi and Alonso at Monza!!

Just make sure you are using an antifreeze that is good for aluminum to help stop corrosion then the % mixture just needs to make the antifreeze good for how ever cold it gets from where you are from. You can get a tester for a couple bucks. You just suck up some of your antifreeze in it and see how many balls float and that tells you what temp it's good for and not freezing. If it gets colder where you are just add 100% until it is good for your coldest night.

They say to fill the overflow to about an inch from the top but when I did this it just kept loosing antifreeze out the little hose for a while. I usually run mine less then half full and it is fine. It's just an expansion tank for when it's hot so as long as you see fluid in there your system is full.

I did the coolant change on my car last year.

Filled it up and the drove it for a while. Lost some out the burp tank cap and let it settle.

Then I got me a Ferrari approved wooden dowel about 6" long. Plunked it in and marked the top of the filler neck and checked the level. Marked that too.

Mine is happy at 2" below the filler neck top.

I just use a tape measure. Coolant level is a little over 2" from the bottom of the tank in my car.
