    Clean up the engine compartment.

Were these parts originally glossy or low gloss?

    Coolant tank
Engine tie bar to the storage bulkhead

Does any one have some good pics of a concours 308 carb engine?

    Thanks

I'd call the coolant tank on my 328 semi-gloss.

Like a satin, not full gloss.

Remember, the tank is a functional component of the cooling system ;)

(it needs to be coated with a high emissivity radiator paint to work best)

    D'oh!
    I knew I shouldn't have spoken about anything paint-related.

    Satin is more appropriate.
