For installing the cooling fan switch at the bottom of the radiator http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?products_id=204997 is this the same as VW PN# 82395948182 ? Also, should I treat the threads with anything or just install with the gasket and go? Thanks
If it's threaded and sees water or oil, I always use a light coat of Permatex 80632 (liquid Teflon). -It seals -Minimizes corrosion -doesn't have any impact on thermal transfer (if needed) -still allows electrical contact (if needed) -makes whatever it is easier to get out later Rick
