When the ignition is switched on, one of the cooling fans, only one, switches on, irrespective of the temperature of the water in the radiator. I am sure this is a recent phenomenon.
Has anyone experienced the same "problem?"

    Good day John,

I may be wrong on this, but I think if the AC is on then one of the fans is automatically turned on. You would need to check the 308 wiring diagram to see if this is the case... however, it could explain your issue.

    Cheers,

    Sam

Thank you for the speedy response Sam. I'll certainly check it out and see if you're right. Let's hope so!

That's correct, Sam. Simple first step is to check the AC fan switch is turned off

I feel rather foolish. As the model is a GTS and I always drive with the roof removed, I never use the AC. I was therefore totally unaware that I have been driving with the AC fan switched on.
    Thank you gentlemen!
    John
