Looking for someone in the San Francisco Bay area that can trouble shoot and repair the cooling fans on my 1999 456M.

I checked thermal switch, swapped relays, and fuses, all OK.

i checked the fans with direct 12 volt feed, and both fans work properly.

    Thanks for any help provided.

I have had my 550 serviced at SF Motorsports (in San Rafael) for the last three years and have been very happy with their service. Doug, Jesse, et al, have been great to work with.

I had the same problem for a while with my 456M. Root cause was a too low pressure in the AC system.

    regards, Jan

There is a separate ecu for the radiator cooling fans... might fail aswell.

Do you know where it is located? I thought the fan control was embedded in the main ECU.

Thanks for any information you can provide

There should be two signals to start the fans, one for normal temperatures and another back-up at higher temps if the first is inop. Neither working is not a good sign
