What happened? As I was leaving I saw a ton of cops pulling in. Did anyone stay to see what the deal was?

Its what happens when people rev engines and do burnouts for half an hour in a state park. Eventually, someone's going to get their car strip searched.

What a crock. We were providing a much needed public service by protecting the state park pavement with our rubber. It'll last longer! ;)

They, the police, are just doing their job; as the offenders, so too, were obviously not doing theirs (i.e. driving in a public park like some 'jamoke'.) Makes for bad publicity for an otherwise good intentioned event.
