Update....stopped by Sheriffs office this AM, about 7:30. Where is everybody?!!!!!!! No cops even there! Bankers hours?? Cops hours?? Sheeeeesh. (when is it their break time?)
This thread comes to an end. Stopped at the Sheriffs, again, this time later, and told the deputy I have my car for him ready to inspect with repaired brake lights. He said gimme the ticket, signed it, and said "you're all set". I said "aren't you gonna check my lights? He said "naaah".
