    Ok, I know this might be the most obvious statement ever made, but be careful out there this weekend on the speed in our F cars in NOVA

    I just took mine out for an hour and saw no less than 6 cops including 3 different Chips gunning people down on the parkway.

    Be careful.

    Stay home today if you can. Every jurisdiction will be out in force. There will be check points and other obnoxious revenue producing games in play.

    My wife came home with a citation today, 19 over. Her second citation this summer. Cop was kind enough to reduce from 22 over which would have been reckless. First thing I asked, did she talk to the cop to try to explain? Yep. Oh well. Sorry officer, only for a second, was going downhill, was about to slow down. So much for fighting it.

    Let me put in a plug for the Bell STi driver. I use it on my commute and it is not visible to the detector detectors. Police in this area tend to be a bit lazy about hiding to run radar because they assume there are no detectors. I always hit the brakes on the first beep and have cruised by many radar hides at a cool 55mph.

    However no radar detector can beat a visual detection from a cop that happens to end up next to you at a light with that thing stuck to your window, so I got one of these and one of these;

    Nothing to see here officer, just an ordinary baseball cap on the dash.
