Hi Guys, racing again in the family sedan after I drop my kids off at school first. Car number 165 in Group 5, 1959-1966 Production Sports and Race Cars if I remember correctly. You cant miss me. Its the only pumpkin orange four-door Alfa usually found dead last, just ahead of the cars that break-down on the track.

I think this is my 11th year doing this. Really fantastic venue that should not be missed if you are any kind of a car fan and in the area.

    Cheers,

    Bill Noon

We will be there as well. Usually drive the GTC down and we always have a vendor booth. We offer T-shirts of vintage Ferraris, Alfas, Cobras, etc and artwork. As always, mention that you are an Fchatter for a 10% discount.

Excellent event once again. The weather could not have been better, and of course the location is always great. Once they got rollin', it was pretty much non stop action. Bravo to all the participants for bringing out the beautiful hardware for all of us to enjoy. And a big applause to all of the volunteers for making it happen.

Entertaining show you guys put on. :)

Didn't catch Sunday's show but thoroughly enjoyed Saturday's! First time at the event and won't be the last. Can't believe I've missed it all these years. Hope you got a nice ride in on the Duc as well. A very pleasant day.

Is that your car by chance or just a favorite of the day? We loved it as well.

That is Pete Whiteheads car it ran at Monterey too, great guy. The Rivolta sounds fantastic. Nice to see it running here in the states.

Agreed. We met Pete some-time after the race while admiring the car in the paddock area. Indeed, he seemed like a very nice guy just having fun. After complimenting him on the looks and sound, I mentioned to him that we were trying to figure out what it was at first until one of the people in our party recognized it as an Iso Rivolta with a very menacing sound. He got a kick out of that and then mentioned he'd changed the exhaust piping from 2.5" to 3" pipes.

    Hi guys,

Glad to see so many of you there. My parents could not attend but were hoping someone took photos of the races. I would like to see them to. Anyone know anyone who took shots of the event especially grid five that might show my four-door Alfa Sedan, No 63?

    Cheers,

    Bill

Hi Bill, it was great to see you ripping around the track! I was impressed with the alfa turn out!

I do believe a friend of mine got photos of your car. He was there on a press pass and was taking pictures for sports car digest and someone else... can't remember who though... He is going to send me a link to all of his photos and when he does I will send it over to you!

I knew instantly what it was as there is one in my neighborhood. Also spoke with Pete and he definitely "gets" vintage racing. Got a kick out of the full leather interior, headliner, etc. Pete said he couldn't even remove the back seat because the roll bar prevented it and he didn't want to remove it or ruin the seat.

The Corvette that won his race had the power of a Group 7 car-couldn't believe how quickly it accelerated.

Nice event at a great venue. Business was brisk in the booth and thanks to those that came by and said hello.

Yep, pretty cool stuff. The interior caught my attention as well. Fun car.

That Corvette was insane. Hopefully we'll get to see you there next year and stop by the booth if you're displaying again.

Did anyone see the orange Pantera in the car corral? Gorgeous car.

Please do- we are there every year(as well as Concourso and the Historics).

I spoke with one of the Cobra guys about the Corvette, they too were stunned by its straight line speed and named the builder(name escapes me at the moment-but, well known)
