Another dykhead footballer who thinks he's above the law: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-01-20/richmond-afl-player-sidney-stack-guilty-of-covid-breach/13074498
I was on a jury a few years ago where the basis of the prosecution case, and the only evidence, was social media history and google plus mobile phone location data. A guilty verdict resulted. Social media platforms, email, Google, Apple and mobile phone companies are required to provide content and location information to the police without warrants or cause, originally a result of anti-terrorism laws. Ironically the only private communication now is a landline phone. A year or so ago a group of semi-exotic cars were caught and impounded on Thunderbolts Way in NSW. I assure you that social media platforms are actively monitored by multiple agencies, using automated Neural Networking software. It takes very few people to oversee thousands of sites. Any organised event that resulted in a serious accident would result in an investigation that would include all social media of the participants. All this risk so that Klink can have something to post about?
Ok, best not mention my spa nights in that case BTW, I don't go on GGs anymore pretty much because of the "style" of driving that takes place on a public road. I don't need to be caught up in a case like you've mentioned
Sounds like I need to organise a "Gentlemen's GG" where we don't misbehave but still have the fun at the end of the day. WE drive 10k BELOW the speed limit and drink Cognac and Baileys while driving elderly Ferraris at a pace they were never made to drive at
I'm happy to drive my own car at pace and take responsibility for it. Not happy to be in an organised event where some choose to 4 wheel drift across double yellow lines on a blind corner
I usually leave the stops 10 minutes before anyone else as I like to drive at my own pace on my own, never been good driving in a group, herd mentality Simon thinks I'm being anti-social but I know I can get caught up in the moment so avoid the temptation They are great events and 11 yeats ago we were silly but it was great fun
Yeah, loads of fun. I guess I've just grown out of it. I prefer using my holiday time for other things these days
Ian that had NOTHING to do with social media. If you, like some of the rest of us had, you'd have listened to the owner of the cafe at 'somewhere' on the New England (just to please you) who said the cops had been targeting the whole of NSW in segments for about a week at a time. The police 'event' had a codename that escapes me. The owner wouldn't serve or let the cops in 'cos it'd be bad for bizz.
Sorry? Oh I get it,it was my fault for bringing up the subject of the killing of a New Guinea delicacy...sorry again!
