I am refinishing my air horns on my '85 308 - but foolishly stripped the paint before noting the exact color (red). Does anyone happen to know the proper color code for the horns? I'm guessing 320 or 322?

    TIA!

Funny that you mentioned that, I just painted mine yesterday ! here is a photo from an earlier thread of the original colored horns. (85'qv) I don't have the color code though. Hope this helps.
(sorry that I can't give credit to the owner of the photo, there was no name attached to the photo that I stored)

    Bob,

Down to refinishing airhorns !?!? dude, I'm in awe. Can't wait to see your car.

Just so happens I have mine up on stands and front inner fender wells out. I'll check my 85 Euro horns and report back.

It is looking better all the time Lou. But every time I dive into a section of the car I find overspray, grease, grime and mixed fasterners, all of which drive me nuts!!

I'm just seeking end up with a clean, stock looking weekend driver.

Although, last Sunday I went to the Pasadena Ferrari show and walking around, I was a little disappointed with the condition of the three 308's IN THE SHOW GETTING JUDGED! My car now appears to be looking more of show quality, at least in terms of non-modified details/condition. One of the 308's had white interior (w/red exterior) that looked like it was shot with an aerosol spray can! The attached picture actually makes it look OK...but in person(%$#!@!?!).

My 81, and my old 85, both have aluminum horns.

I think the horns on my 85' are aluminum too, I used a sandblaster to clean them up, if they were plastic, I think the blaster would have distroyed them.
