    Hello everyone,

I recently made two stupid mistakes: 1. I broke the badge on the rear trunk of our 1975 Dino GT4. 2. I tried to fix it.

Short story is that I am looking at options to replace it, and it's no longer so clear to me which it the correct one. The one I had found has a flat top on the "g" and the "4" is quite narrow. However, I have seen them on 1979 GT4 models, making me wonder if these are a later iteration compared to the ones available as repops.

Here too, things get muddled as there are two versions (both of which have a rounder "g" and wider "4"): one with a round dot on the "i" and one with a square dot on the "i".

Below are some pictures of what I am talking about. There are also subtle differences in the "D". Does anyone have any info or suggestions on what went where and what shouldn't be there? I searched threads all over and couldn't find anything, but maybe I missed it.

    Thanks for any help!

This is a new old stock I bought from Algar I believe in 2000. It came in the ricambi Ferrari bag. I would look carefully at Ferraris advertising scripts to see any discrepancies. i dont recall seeing number 2 with the raised G

Thanks to both for the info! Any ideas on what year the badges are from? I am inclined to think that only the first one was used, but don't understand how a reproduction would get the script wrong unless they had a different model to reproduce.

Has anyone seen any other version believed to be original?

    #2 and #3 look terrible
Please be careful as casting replication can be difficult due to mold shrink and adjustment of the mother
