When I bought my 1988 328, the spare was missing. Should it be a full size tire and wheel or one of those small ones. I think I saw something on this forum that said if the spare is a full size tire and wheel, the only one that fits in the spare tire place is the front one, which is the wrong size if you have a flat on th rear.If a small spare is appropriate, where can I find it.

Mine's a 4/87 production date, but I believe an '88 would be the same.

Tire Rack would have the correct replacement tire. If you need the wheel, check with sponsors Ricambi or maybe T. Rutlands. You'll also want the plastic retaining piece and the orange warning sticker.

The original is a smaller spare. I can go get the size from mine if needed.

Last year there were a few 328's that were being parted out at Specialized Parts Planet, which is local to me. I picked up some plug extenders from them. It may be worth giving them a call. I worked with a gentleman named Doug. Their number is 916-638-5111. Website: www.specializedpartsplanet.com
