I haven't seen anyone posting about Corse Clienti in Homestead this week end. The F1s FXX and all of those will be there and there will be a caravan from The Collection to the track.
I'll be headed to Homestead on Saturday to enjoy the festivities and cars. When is the caravan heading over? Could be some great photo opportunities.
We used to really run with the HWP's blessing - I'm guessing this was about 2005 - 2005-6 That was a lot of fun - then one of the track staff would give us his key for the cart track. So we would be over there running 360-430s on the cart track. I watched one of the Andrettis, a really good friend, take two NFL Buds of mine and their wive's around the cart track in a big van on basically two wheels the whole way - wish I had recorded it - well now that I'm getting older wished I had done a lot more recording around the track, my running buddies the fellow owners(thats the best part) and in my family, 5 of us track, my wife, myself my youngest daughter and killer son in law. The two kids can totally kick my butt now but they know not to squeeze me Sorry didn't mean to steal the page - love the memories
In the past, they would let all the cars thru the gate and up on the track for a few fun laps and then park them in one open are so plenty of access and photo ops - really a fun way to hang out at a race track for the afternoon with some really cool toys
