With the right wealth advisor it should be possible. FYI, this bad girl is discussed in the racing forum too: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=345054

Looking forward to seeing this monster in January on track. Finally a DP car that looks good. Some of the design of this car is sure to show up on the production line.
and a Corvette engine and Corvette body design and Corvette racing team I think I'd take this baby over an F40LM
This is GM prepping everyone for a (rear) mid engine corvette. Trolling all mid engine "never going to happen" folks. I kid, but do find this to be a very strange direction for Corvette Racing as one would think the engine/auto development/ marketing dollars spent in ALMS would yield a greater ROI.
No preperation for a mid engine car. This car is like the other prototype cars, built to a formula. The car almost certainly has styling clues that are taken from the upcoming production car but the current layout will remain intact.
Yes, I was kidding about the mid engine prep. and I'm well aware of the Grand Am formula. This will be one of the few cars readily identifiable with its maker. However, I still am at a loss as to GM's choice to invest in this particular series/class. None-the-less, she's real beaut Clark, a real beaut.
Simple. They want Corvette to win the 24 hours of Daytona, and Grand Am/NASCAR was willing to work with them to give an advantage. Chevrolet Marketing never took advantage of Corvette Racing's success in ALMS and at LeMans. Agree that it's the only Grand Am car that looks good.
Nice shop there, about 5 miles away I was actually there when that photo was snapped, and have a few of my own somewhere on my HDD.
I'm a dyed in the wool "Corvettes should be front engined" guy, but I have to admit I must give this Respect.
