Can anyone recommend someone in Chapel Hill, TN to do an inspection on a 2004 Corvette?
I hate to say this but, it's a corvette..... should be a repair shop on a corner somewhere near....... try a chevy dealer.
It's not a Fcar so..... anywhere.
Hope this helps.
Watch it PJ!
<-----Corvette guy here and as a DIY'er, for the most part, my 360 is easier to work on than my Z06...which is good because the 360 needs way more attention.
It sounds like he is buying sight unseen given the distance between...which definitely would require an inspection...what is it, base, z06, conv? They all have their own special gremlins, just not as dire as Ferrari gremlins. Dealer inspections are...ok...unless they offer PPI service. I would say your best bet is to see if they can take the car up the road closer to Nashville, there are shops that specialize in Corvettes there.
Thanks RedNeck - I was posting for my daughter-in-law who lives in Huntsville. Just trying to help her not get burned. From what I can tell it's just a basic Corvette coupe. I will suggest she find a Corvette specialist in the Nashville area.
Hmmm...I wonder if it is a commemorative edition or something..if not, I'm sure there are plenty available locally to Huntsville. Good luck with whatever she decides.
You might try reaching out for advice from the Nashville Corvette club.
