I'm not the first, but won't be the third. Don't tell GM . Dr. Wert from Jalopnik has posted up the rest: http://jalopnik.com/cars/detroit-auto-show/2009-chevrolet-corvette-zr1-revealed-officially-334923.php Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thats it I must come clean I have been a closet fan of the ZR1 for ages now!. Damn thats hot, I love how that engine peaks through the hood. Great color and its got those looks that I want out of a car, GM has done it right this time. Can't wait to see this bad boy in person.

Personally, I like the carbon fiber tid-bits. If I had an extra hundred grand in my pocket I'd be heading down to Les Stanford to drop a deposit tomorrow. Look at the size of the brake discs on the front tires...Holy Crap!! Those are 20 inch wheels!! http://jalopnik.com/photogallery/09ChevyCorvetteZR1Black/1000345598
220? I thought they said 205? Only thing I do not like are the bling bling wheels. Hope they offer a dark gray option like the ZO6.
While you can't buy a faster car for less..........at the end of the day you still have a Corvette that looks very close to your standard vette for over a $100,000. Gotta love that American muscle though.
GTR what? That thing is going to be a monster on the street. A 6+ litre supercharged car. I know they didnt pick the most efficent type of blower, Im pretty sure its a roots, but its gonna be STRONG with a pulley swap, Im not sold on the looks, the hood could be not see through thats kinda rice IMO. The side frontal vent needs to be one peice instead of the split. I love the rims, they kinda look like a standard z06 rim with a couple extra spokes thrown in.
It weighs 3350 lbs. Boy are some purist going to be irked. I read many (not on this site) posts that emphatically stated its weight as being significantly less that that of the 2007 Z06. Well, if I had the cash, I'd get one (regardless of its weight).
I love those wheels, If you look closely, you see the new Z06 wheel, and sort of in the back the old C5 Z06 wheel.
My God, I've never been a fan of the Corvette until now! Look at the one in the dark grey livery! It's stunning!

Nice, I think they could have done a better job at making all those add on parts look a little more classy and less plasticy, I definately like the CF touches. Can't wait to detail one and then I'll have a way better appreciation.
Looks cool, nothing radically different, but I'm sad to see the seats look like the same old cushy Barcaloungers, & that's just wrong. My C4 had seats that were fairly supportive, but after the C4s, the seats have to be the single biggest disappointment for anyone wanting to drive the car in a true sporting manner as it was designed. I can understand a base model seat being designed mainly for straight line comfort, but at least offer as an option something that will hold you in place when making a turn!
Do I see carbon ceramic brakes? I didn't know that was part of the new car . That helps make 100K look like a deal.
Wow I want one. Why are people complaining about the interior when this is going to be quite the performance bargain?
