Having opted for a 360 instead of a 355 I would like to know how much it would cost me to fit a tubi exhaust and a challenge grill on a 360 - parts and labour. This is so i can factor this cost when comparing different cars. Thanks.

Mate, if you can afford a 360, I wouldn't worry about the small ding in your wallet a Janspeed and K&N will make!

However, typically an exhaust will set you back £2k and a challenge grill anywhere between £500 and £1k, depending on where you find one.

    God bless ya!

    Now worries!

Defo go for a challenge grill on a 360 - definitely makes the car (lousy on a 355 though!)

No wonder the Romans stopped going North once they hit the South Mimms junction of the M25.

    I'm off for a mochaccino.
    :D

PS: 360 good choice for those who can afford one! :D

Hazy - sorry to dissappoint but for me a a five year old 360 for around £60K takes some beating. I see Ferrari as a company that has made its name and reputation for being the best and at the cutting edge. Just bear in mind that the 355 was no longer around by the time Ferrari started winning GPs again! I feel that the 360 has benefited tremendously from Mr Schumachers achievements and its this era (1999-2004) which will be most celebrated by Ferrari historians. I also personaly believe that we will never see a 360 RHD drop below £50K even in the next 5 years. Who agrees?

The only extra you need on a 360 is not avaliable a proper engine with 12 cylinders

I will take that bet. I think by this time next year we will see early 360s at 49,995. There have already been high mileage examples around 60k. It is a question of numbers. As the years have progressed and Ferrari have sorted reliability, great numbers have sold. I do believe that good late low mileage examples of the 355 will in time (2 years) command higher prices than early 360s.

I know that the 360 is a better car than the 355. But I just could not get on with the rear end. I love the side/front profile. But the rear grill/light cluster shape is too high and wide and tilts at the wrong angle for me. I also found it a bit fat for everyday use. I still love the shape of the 355. I think one of the prettiest cars ever made. Of course, I would ditch the 355 for a 430. But sadly, not for a 360.

Ohhhhh thats going to simulate a heated series of posts as usual :D all in good humor of course!

5 years? IMO definately below 50K. Just look at the price of a 10 year old 355 B high mile now?..... 37K.

Tons of 360s made.... tons to choose from.... its all good !! :) A new 430 replacement will be out by then... ummmmm.

Completely agree with you there mate (minus 360CS). 430 just has something looks-wise and sound-wise....... that really eclipses the 360

Strangely(?), I think the rear of the 360 is much better than the 355 (especially when fitted with challenge grill). I'd swap my 355 for a 360 right now if I could. It was only finances that stoppped me getting one. I think the 360 has so much more road presence than a 355, which is due to the 'fatness' and higher rear profile, I'm sure. You also get the perspex engine cover.......

Oh, and much more importantly, with a 360, you don't have to fit that bloody stupid tuna cover every time you drop the roof! Just press a button and off you go!!!

Having said all of that though, I am sure that the 355 is much more of a 'classic' shape and so is likely to be more sort after in years to come. But I think we're talking 10 ~20 years, not 5!
    :)

How much was the F1 gearbox on a new 360 ?

FWIW - virtually everyone who's driven mine loves the F1 paddle gear change. It takes a while to get used to it but it's worth it.

There are some similarities between a lawnmower and a 360. So Id say Tony was qualified.

When I say that 360s will not drop below £50K I was refering to RHD cars offered for sale to the general public - not the px price you would get from a delaer! The 355 will always hold up the more modern 360. Nice to hear from you all eventhough those who dissagree are WRONG
