    Now the 430 windscreen has no electronics in it, no head up display, its not even heated, so $5,400 for a replacement is daylight robbery .... but thats what my dealer charged and the insurance paid...

    what does a windsheild replacement cost in the US if you hacve a crack or chip from a stone ?

    Any break in the windshield is covered by insurance. It is a known fact that they charge the insurance co. more than if you pay for it cash. I don't know price for either cash or insurance cost.

    My insurance paid $1000 for my Porsche 911 windshield about 8-9 years ago so $5400 doesn't surpise me.

    I replaced the driver's glass in my 360at my expense. I was trying to adjust the window, it would not seal correctly with the convertible top. Never over tighten the allen screws that connect the glass to the window regulator. $800.00

    Then I had to pay $45.00 to redo the tint, talk about adding insult to injury.
