For the people with the stomach to buy NEW Ferrari cars, are you spending more than $4000 in your first two years? NOTE: I'm well aware that buying used requires a certain level of bravery as well because these cars don't do well with abusive previous owners and how can you ever be sure, but the cost of new is no laughing matter either. :)

I'm talking about your disc change, fluids change and any repair work like clutch or pump.

    Thanks!

Depends on how many miles, how hard the miles, and how crooked your service department is. :)

My 355 was a money pit. My 430 was a dream... as is the Scud. Im fairly certain my maintenance on the Scud over the last 2 years has been less than $2k. Your best bet is to check in the technical sections among the owners of the cars you're looking at...

That is interesting because I think the Maserati 2 year maintenance costs about $2000+. I think that is what service told me. This is just for brake pads/discs and fluid change. That is with no complications and complications are not thought to be all that rare.

Hey Emil, How many miles on your Scud per year? Any track day?

$2k is awesome , that is less than what i paid for my 997 but i did 30K in 2 years (rear tires alone were $900.)

I have a C4S, so the rear a 305/19 and i was running Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 until tomorrow (they are in back order so im switching to Hankooks.) The rear seems to last a little more than 10k in every day driving.

Amazing those Hankooks. I can't believe I was just about to recommend them to you and you already are going to get them. Supposed to be very competitive with much more expensive tires and relatively quiet to boot. I just hope there is no fine print we are missing that explains the low cost. Good stuff.

Thats good to hear. I wasnt sure about them but the more i read and ask around, the better it gets. They are almost 40% cheaper than the Michelin. I didnt want to wait months for them as this is my DD and the Bridgestone Porsche recommended didnt get as good reviews as the Hankook.
