    I have searched all the forums and have not come up with anything. I was just curious what a testarossa cost new in 88. Anybody have a window sticker the could scan and post. I have a good idea and have heard several different number. Just curious?

    I think around 158. My 91 stickered at 176. Go figure, I guess Ferrari just got greedy during the italian price explosion during that time.

    I haven't seen a window sticker on mine but from a couple of different sources the MSRP was around 135k IIRC.
    One source says 134k for an '87.
    Another source says the MSRP rose to 145k for 1989.
    It all started at about 87k for the 1985 model year.

    That doesn't mean that is what it sold for.

    The MSRP on the Enzo was 660k and we know where that went.

    I have the window sticker for my '88. It has a Total Suggested Retail Price of $127,650. It also lists a gas guzzler tax of $3200

    I've heard stories of some cars selling for double the sticker price in the height of the boom, talk about a bad investment...

    I have the window sticker for my 1989.I can't put my hand on it tonight but it was $149,000.00 or so if memory serves.A friend of mine waited almost one year for delivery on his 1988.5 Testarossa.When it finally arrived at the dealer,he was offered $40,000.00 over sticker by the dealer to sell it but my friend declined.He still owns it today.

    I have the window sticker for my '91 Testarossa - s/n 86758. It has a Total Suggested Retail Price of $170,150. plus a gas guzzler tax of $2,700

    I remember my dad placing a $5,000 deposit on a Testarossa from Hollywood Sports Cars in 1985. By the time the car was due in (it kept being pushed back), it was 1988-1989 and the cars were roughly $175,000. He ended up selling the contract for $50,000. Not too shabby. I do remember the TRs being almost $300,000 with premium. At any rate, I did the math on the inflation of what cost $175000 in 1990 would cost $284772.04 in 2008. Guess it's like buying a 599 gtb today
