a lot of things you can find in the internet, not as nice as in the books, but this what is important and you need to know you can find. google is your specialist. tools: this depends on what you want to do. there are some absolut special tools for some nuts you can hardly find. I was making those tools by myself ( picture will follow tomorrow ), otherwise you have to pay a lot of money. other possibility would be to look for a ferrari shop that just has to close. those parts there you never will get them cheaper
Similar or like this one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-512-Tool-Kit-Briefcase-Tool-Kit-365-400-Keys-/160556577541?hash=item2561eaf305&item=160556577541&pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr
That's for a BB512. The BB512i came with a tool roll-pouch type tool kit similar to what came in the 308
Be carefull. Ferrari sold a tool kit similar to this as a replacement but it is slightly larger and does not have the two plastic strips around the outside. It's the old debate of original or correct.
You mentioned you bought a BBi in the other thread, pics or at least the color of the leather will help to find what goes with your car. Depends on if you want it correct, or just the appropriate bits. Many of us are big fans not just Ferraris, but Porsches as well. So pics of both would be welcome. Don't forget to add your serial number and details to the registry thread as well.
I think I missunderstood your question?? so you mean not the tools mechanics use or special tools for repairing? you mean the original delivered tools from the factory?
I'm pretty sure he's talking about the tool kit that would have been delivered with the car from the factory. Ironically, this will cost a lot more $$ than a nice new set of Snap-on tools!!!
Lots here. Make sure you're sitting down before you start perusing... Ferrari Screwdriver Tool Kit Screwdriver 365 Orange OEM items in Tony Randazzo 308 Ferrari Maserati store on eBay!
