First I would like to say as a new member how pleased I am to be part of this forum, secondly as a soon to be owner of a fabulous 88 328 gts I would like to thank everybody in advance for there help and patience for my future questions and input to this forum.

I thought it might be a good idea to perhaps post some cost from new, today's value and future probable valuations of our cars, so if anyone could get us of to a start with the Ferrari 328gts it would be much apreciated

You'll need two different "costs from new" dollar amounts for the 328 GTS. The MSRP in 1988 and what they typically sold for (most had a mark-up that made the total price over $100k back then).

What color combo is your new 328?
    I use to own a red/tan 1988 328 GTS about 6 years ago.

Where's Jim Cramer when we need him?

I'd suggest all of our 328s will be worth $400K by September, except for the blue ones.

I agree, you'll be able to pick up a blue for 375K.

I have a Nero/Crema '89 328 GTS. Original sticker was $85,000. However, in the early 90's these began trading as high as $130k because of the idea that it was the last car actually built under the control of Enzo Ferrari. Then they dropped to the $40's and now a really good one can bring close to $70k. So, they've jumped around in value. As for the future, as the other posts have said (in one way or another) who knows?

_after the rise up of the price of Dino 246 now it is the time of 328....to me.
Here in Europe the prices are.more high, and the 328 with only 4.000 miles from new red and black was sold last week for 55K euro (about 75K US D)

In the UK we are looking for between £25-35k, I have read that they wer around £55k new with the air con and a few extra bits and some buyers wer selling them with factory miles only as new for £95k, how true this isI dont know. thanks for shedding a bit more light on costs.

It would be nice to think the value would mature as much as you say would'nt it but you know, the 328 gts has been a distant dream of mine for a number of years, I think being the best looking Ferrari ever, a true drivers car, a true raw experience...
