Good heavens. I was in my friend’s 360 Challenger today, and that’s plenty of car for me. I can’t imagine running a 488 on a track. Someday maybe I’ll make it out to COTA, though I suspect we play in a different league.

I’m having a great HPDE experience, which is really what it’s all about. And in a Ferrari, no less.

Hope you get your TC issue resolved. I had the opportunity to turn mine off today in the 458. Was quite a thrill to feel the difference on throttle up.

You dont want to run this car without TC control, there is way too much power. Depending on the track and tire condition you can dial it up or down. We can adjust when it comes on and how much. The ABS is also adjustable.

Wow, those are some cars! I love the inside pic….,looks quite modern compared to the 360 challenge car I was in yesterday.

I’d say those are some very serious controls there. I love the drink button, lol……

Oh, and good luck if you’re running. I trust you got the TC issue sorted out. Curious what it was….

You’re a lucky guy, indeed! More details needed on your COTA experience. I trust you got the TC sorted.

I’m on the docket to run Homestead, Watkins Glen, Pocono, Lime Rock, VIR, Road Atlanta, Barber and Sebring in 2022. Really looking forward to it, especially as my skills improve.

Will initially be with the 458, which I’ve modded a bit, but hope to begin using the STO also.

Fortunately I did, it took a competent tech to figure it out in 15 minutes. I do recommend however if you enjoy tracking that you get a race car, the track oriented street cars are just a novelty. Sell the 458 and get a 458 Challenge or something similar like a GT3 Cup car. What you will find is that you wont care too much for the street cars after you start running a real race car. Its a complete different level and experience.

Awesome pics and cars! I am well aware of the limitations of the 458 on a track, however I do hope to give the STO a run when I’m accomplished enough as a driver.

STO will be better but still not the same. If you are running a few laps at a time it's OK but street cars won't stand up to constant stress. I've tracked my Pista and 765 and while both are very fast they just don't feel the same. Perhaps over time you will enjoy the tracking enough to get a dedicated car, one that you can beat on without worry.

Lol, I completely agree. I wouldn’t track any of my existing cars (including the incoming F8) for a living. Who wants to risk tracking a $500k car that is not as purposely built as the real thing? I enjoy the thrill and it makes me feel I’m enjoying attributes most folks will never get to experience.

I’ve ridden in the 360 Challenger, it is quite a bit different feel all around.

I suppose you drive in circles where even the GT3 RS is considered inadequate.

Porsche does a great job but a street car is still a street car.

The 360 Challenge could also be a ton of fun. It's not very fast but still exciting to drive.

I was at COTA 2 weeks ago for 3 days with Edge Addict. I did not bring my 488.

Took my 981S Cayman track car instead. Not an easy track to learn, so I figured less power would be better.

Amazing track. Now that I know it somewhat, I will bring my 488 there at some point.

Amazing track, and we hit it just after a significant repave.

    Glad you enjoyed....

2:10 for the better drivers up to about 2:15. I ran 2;16 to 2;17 on scrubs just practicing, I wasn't pushing and I had never seen the track before. This week I expect to be around 2:11.

Anyone headed to Watkins in May? I plan to run four days mid-May with FCA and Chin (tracking, not racing).
