For most people the thrill of a ride in a Ferrari is un-surpassable. Especially if its a first time experience.

Have any of you ever had the REALLY embarassing situation of a passenger falling asleep whilst taking them out on a ride/drive in your ferraris.

My neighbors 8 year old did. In his defense the traffic was bad and we couldn't get to a decent speed and he had been for rides before.

Now I would argue that due to the copious amount of alchohol taken the night before, its definately possible, but I feel Robs still embarrassed and smarting about his MR2 spotting moment. Anyway, just to prove that it actually happened, here's Les (my co-pilot) asleep following the 'night before'.

Granted, you woke him when you pulled alongside us and revved your car. He looked up and said '.....oh its only a MR2 and went back to sleep!' - what happened next - you tried it again and he still remained asleep - bless.

I think the moral of the story here is, if you are a passenger in a 348, you can remain relaxed/asleep in the knowledge that the car's got superior handling, a well balanced ride, and more importantly, is driven by real men who can handle themselves in almost any situation

You know they have remedies for narcolepsy now. The only thing is that the side effects are pretty bad... Impotence, and a terrible rash on the back of your neck!

My girlfriend fell asleep during the ride home the night I picked up my first f-car. I couldn't believe it.

My wife didn't fall asleep but she did have her bare feet on the dash and was knitting on my first cross country dash.

What I forgot to mention in my first post is that I've only had 328's and, in my opinion, they are louder stock than a 348. So, yes, I can imagine someone falling asleep in one. Especially if John Lamour is driving. Estelle Getty could probably smoke him around a driving course!

My wife has never fallen asleep in my 308 but, years ago, she fell asleep on the back of my KZ1000 motorcycle.

My EX-GF used to sleep on our dashes down to the shore while I weaved in and out of traffic at triple digit speeds. It amazed me. I'm not a good passenger and could never be that relaxed in a car not being piloted by myself.

When I was able to attend the local FC weekend events, my niece used to sleep in her carseat in the Testarossa all the time. She actually wakes up as we slowed down entering small towns along the way, but no problem when we are flying down the twisties at 90+ mph. :)

348 Brothers, I have to confess that Chaa is telling the truth. He did indeed sleep through the entire journey, and I'm sure he remembers nothing.

....as soon as the 348 fired up and launched, it seems Chaa was so taken aback when faced with the performance of a real drivers car that he fainted!

He remained unconscious throughout the drive, only regaining consciousness when seated in the soft, luxurious comfort of his pink convertible :D
