I asked in another thread but did not succeed to get an answer. I would very much apreciate if someone could describe what each of the levers operate and what is supposed to happen if you move to the left or to the right.

    The car is a QP-1

is this from a Q-port? Looks very similar to my Sebring. Most likely, one of the middle levers is for the choke, either upper or lower, the other middle lever might control air to the windshield for the defroster.

As for the levers on each side: the upper right one might/should be for heat, on or off, for the Passenger side. The lower right one should be for fresh air inlet, closed or open for the passenger side. Same is true for the levers on the left side, but operating for the drivers side of the cabin.

The heater/ fresh air supply system is split from left side to right side. There are two heater radiators inside the car, one located on the outside of each foot well, behind the front tires. Each of these radiators is feed with it's own water supply. There are two valves
in the engine compartment that, when open, let water flow to the respective radiator.

Open the hood have someone in side the car move the levers, one at a time, to figure out your exact pattern.

Please any body with more knowledge please correct me if i'm off base.

I had a QP1 but cannot remember exactly I think there is a QP1 owners manual for sale on Ebay right now. If you still cannot get a clear answer I will ask the owner of my old QP1 ... ciao

My Ghibli I purchased in 2002 did not have this valve. It only took one. I believe I got mine from Jacques at Maserati Source. It looks like a small bathroom faucet knob and it goes right into the heater line.
