Ok, I love lean fresh meat grilled on an open fire! Venison hamburgers are so much better than beef. I can eat vast quantities of this wild meat rare from a cookout. Yet I would hesitate to fire when looking down the barrel of a rifle at a proud young buck unless I was starving. It’s hunting season. Are you game? (ha) How?

i play the harder version of hunting. I wait til a deer comes along, and it gets on the hood of my car, and ties itself down, then i shoot it. havent gotten any yet.

I used to, but don't anymore. Now in the wild I just like to look at them.

But the ones in my yard are just pests, those I'd shoot if it wouldn't get me arrested. The reason THOSE are so overpopulated is because they are not being hunted. Only thing ever happens to them is getting hit by a car.
Got a bunch of wild turkeys around too......

Hmmm.....have to practice my bow shooting....

Intresting fact: Chuck Norris does not hunt because the word hunting infers the probability of failure. Chuck Norris goes killing.

Well actually the reason they are overpopulated is bcus us humans killed off all their predators then WE moved into their neighborhood

We've got about 10 deer next door (our yard is fenced in because of the pool. Thank goodness) and see the turkeys every now and then but i could never shoot either of them. Those turkeys look so damn funny.

I'm not sure I could shoot a deer (though it's a daily event with my paintball gun to get them out of my flower and plant beds), but eating venicin that is prepared well is another story! YUM! As for cleaning one, NO WAY! I don't even clean fish! I use to until I witnessed (up close) a lady going through a car windshield in a head-on. Blow your nose in front of me a in a restaurant and I'll puke.

Here is a deer that visits my lower deck, off the master from time to time. Kinda cute!

i enjoy venison. i don't know that i could kill one though. they are rather cute, after all - even if they do destroy a number of plants in my yard regularly.

i have a cousin who hunts deer, but i think he does it "sportsmanlike" with a bow. a gun seems a lot less sporting to me.

here's a pic of one such monkey at my kitchen window earlier this year (and his friend in the background).

Whoa, you held off for 52min! impressive! :D

I do hunt deer. No gun, no bow, though. I jump out of the bushes, destroy its head with a roudhouse kick, and eat it whole right there on the spot. And don't you think Chuck Norris taught me that. Vin Diesel did.

Up here, we use "varminting" rifles to shoot small game such as deer. My smallest varminter is a Sako 375 H&H Mag.

To make it sporting, I leave the scope caps on and shoot from the hip.
