    As I have said before, I don't believe Massa deserves a Ferrari seat. It is laughable, however, to think Alonso will "outpoint" him this season.

    At the rate Massa is going he'll be lucky to break the top ten in points.
    Kimi, Hamilton, Heikki, Heidfeld, Kubica, Alonso, Trulli, and maybe even Red Bull will finish above him.

    I think it was laughable your reasoning on how Massa was right to drive into DC's car, ..but everyone has there right to there view point.

    So I think Ted's bet aint a bad one. and very very fair..

    It is highly unlikely Alonso will beat Massa in the points. And how could you not have learned by now that DC turned into Massa? That is the general consensus of those far higher in the F1 food chain than your me, or anyone else on this board.....time for you to give it up.
    I will remind you of these posts at the end of the season when Massa has more points than Alonso, and probably more than the Renault team.
    And once again, I don't believe Massa deserves a seat at Ferrari.

    You see a few things have been pointed out on the boards of late that are relevant to this;

    1.As good as it was , Massa racing last year in the wet against Kubica, Massa in the faster car pushing Kubica off the track like wise Kubica came back at him and so forth I havn't got a problem with the racing as it turned out, but in hindsight given the nature of said track it was forgiving, otherwise reckless.

    2. Pushing Kimi his team MATE at the first corner in Malaysia desperate to keep the lead, yet again I hate team order's but Kimi had a faster get away and the last thing you do is run at your team mate.

    These points don't add weight to your point that he was right to try and have a run at DC on that corner, I still maintain that had DC not been there at the speed and line he was taking he would not have made that corner. IMO

    Excellent point. Unlike most folks on here I care about all 6 Ferrari drivers and have been watching Massa when he was still in a Sauber-Ferrari. And he looks very much the same in this year without TC as he did back then.

    Actually when you compare the threads of Sepang vs Melbourne, you notice that there are a lot less excuses coming from the Massa camp. Simply because you can't excuse that mistake. So the tenor has now changed to whining: "How dare you criticize the Ferrari team?" "It is way too early to draw any conclusions." "Massa is such a good guy."

    Well, the Massa fans might not attack him (yet), but rest assured the team internally does it and tomorrow when Europe will come back from their Easter weekend, the press will clobber Massa. As they should. I wonder how long it will take until the Italian press will ask for Massa's head. This time there is no more Todt to protect him.

    +1

    The Massa fans now accusing the "Massa bashers" are the same people who wanted Kimi gone last year. They accused him of being a drunk, not able to test the car, not a team player and - get this - for having tatoos.

    Right on the Money, I think the Anomisty towards Massa from some of us, is the fact that people on here tend to think he is a superior driver to Kimi. That is what I don't get.

    I followed his career then as well, which made it astonishing to me that he was given a Ferrari seat. It was as unfathomable then as it is inexcusable now.
