Yes, we are doing the work here in Utah. I have new door struts, but will of course save the original NLA chrome ones for posterity.
Would you be willing to sell me yours so I can make exact ones. My cost to duplicate them will be fairly expensive but well worth the price. I can even have some made for you if you like that way you can have chrome ones on your car instead of the black ones. The ones I'm going to have made are far superior than the black Stablius you got for your car, and will be dead on to the originals when I'm done. Send me a PM if interested.

Didnt realize Ferruccio's name was in the name of the company, especially a decade after he left. I thought it was just Automobilia Lamborghini. Good stuff, Joe.
Interesting. With the speaker panel under that seat belt removed, what behind there? Is there access to the fuel tank? I have never seen what's behind that panel.
There is the clasfibre tub, that is single piece, door to dood, no hatches to tank. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u84/unknow82/Ct/3.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u84/unknow82/Ct/1.jpg
Great thread, look forward to seeing the completed car, I have a 1984 Countach in the exact same color combination but mine has a wing, pictures dont do justice to the Bianco Perlato paintwork!
Jose, what's the last three of your VIN? I'm keeping track of 84' that's still alive. So far we have about 8 members here that have 84's excluding mine.
My Bianco Perlato Countach is #12730, it is the ex Joe Nastasi LP500S with the one off tail light built specially for him. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm sure you won't mind if I post a few pics of your car in better lighting! 12730 (Bianco Perlato /Rosso) was special-ordered by USA Lamborghini importer Joe Nastasi as his personal Countach which he kept for almost 30 years from 1983 till 2012 when I supplied it to you, with barely 2,000 miles on the clock! It looks & runs like a new Lamborghini. What's different about this Countach is its Plexi Tail (Coda Plexi) which Joe asked Ubaldo Sgarzi to build the car with, as a special feature by the factory. He took delivery of the car in New Jersey in the summer of 1983. I guess the main point I want to make is some cars in the USA with "1984" identity, paperwork, and Titles, were in fact built in 1983. Glad you are enjoying the car! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very TRUE. The title and USA paperwork on my Red Countach (#12557) that we are also restoring lists it as a 1984 model with DOT plate in door jam saying it was produced in June, 1984. As we all know this car (12557) was built in 1983..
Reminds me of those magical moments just after opening an LP400 model kit from some Japanese model company, inspecting the body-in-white, visualizing the completed project...
I just received the original Weber 45DCOE carbs that were remanufactured by Pierce Manifolds in Gilroy. EXQUISITE... Image Unavailable, Please Login
