My carb car with a one off custom exhaust system. Super cars at Bournemouth Wheels festival - YouTube
They all sound good no questions! But there is a very distinct difference between induction noise, and exhaust notes. IMHO
The best thing I did to my DD 25th Anniversario is the Ansa Sport muffler that I got from you, the stock exhaust is very muffled and makes it very tame.
stock by stock the DD sounds better imo, a bit less silenced and you can hear the intake sound. but DD is also too "tame" sounding for my taste.. but with a proper sport exhaust they are VERY close

If you've ever been behind a well-tuned DD that lets off the gas at high RPMs and there is the crackle-pop - and flames coming out of an Ansa .. you'll NEVER forget it.
I basically agree that the DD with the factory muffler box sounds better than the FI with the factory muffler box. But with a sport exhaust, to my ear the FI sounds angrier, more mechanical than the DD. You get the same crackling on the overrun as with a DD too.
Emilio, it is not the one I will buy, because it doesn't have the sport buckets seats... so I continue my tale ! but it is a nice example for someone who likes standard seats and who wants to spend 200.000 , european model, 1st owner, 28.000 km, always serviced at factory. if there is some interest PM me.

Well, you just never know. I do think the 300 & GTB is more of an example similar to the SV. The tech advantage is important & in every case I can think of, the mfr did not take a radical body change like on the Anni.
Refering back to my original post on Countach value trend # 3420 you will se my value opinion is based on the cars that look the same, spoilers and fenderflairs and so on,in other words any model between the periscope and the anni. In this period the cars looks very similar ( postercar) but advanced big time in the engine departement with the QV wich was the very last Poster car to be manufactured, and sporting the Typical Poster look everyone refers to..Again ,the Anni is Not included In this opinion, this is why i choose the 300 sl and the 275 ferrari as a good comparison, they look similar thru their life cycle but changed / improved in engine / technical department. Again to be clear countach post Periscopo and pre Anni is what i am refering to in my blog#3420 the 275gtb /2 /4 And the Mercedes 300 sl are Spot on comparisons to the Countach Poster car , looks the same tru its cycle, but improves in the engine / tech departement. Again, the anni is NOT part of this opinion , being that they changed somewhat big in the looks, but the engines remained very similar to the last QV, I like the Anni ,but not as much as the OV , i think they will lag behind slightly, but not by much. After all its a Countach, all good
