Sounds very good, also the Anni is growing on me.
The sound of a pair of carbureted Countach 25ths, in both videos, if you listen, you can hear the distinctive induction whistle that makes these engine such a joy to listen to as you drove around under normal engine load
Joe - a few questions: - Was the US front bumper on the Anniversary car installed at the factory or installed in the US after import? - If installed after import, did they arrive in the US with the Euro bumper then converted before distributed to the dealers? - If converted state side, I would assume that US cars that now have the much nicer Euro bumper are actually “pure” as that’s how the left the factory. If I’m correct, the US Quatrovalvole was converted with regulation bumpers after they arrived in the US by Joe Nastasi in North Bergin, NJ. I’d appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.
All USA DOT application (bumpers, side-markers etc) was done at the factory, lots of images showing same in the main Countach thread.
Been thinking about an Anniversary lately. Not sure if it would be silly to own 2 Countachs... First need a white Testarossa.
That shade of red looks gorgeous on the 25th, much nicer than the usual Rosso. And no wing either - fantastic!
I have never seen a anniversary car in Yellow, but judging from the pictures, its a stunning color on this variant, poss my favorit,if in the market,i would work very hard to find one. Thanks for posting, also sounds really good. Although St agatas red car does sound "wilder"if you like.
Can someone please help with the following questions regarding Lamborghini factory paint and leather colors/names for the Countach Anniversary car in 1989: - What is the Lamborghini name of classic red (the equivalent to Ferrari’s Rosso Corsa)? - What is the name of the Lamborghini tan leather color (the equivalent Ferrari’s Beige)? - In tan interior 25th Anniversary cars, was the top of the dash most commonly black leather or brown? I seem to recall the earlier Countach versions were often dark brown. - Lastly, can anyone post photos of the paint color and leather options from 1989? Thank you for your help.
Let me try: - Rosso Siviglia PPG 215157 (below). - The interior color could be Champagne, could be Crema, it depends. - I have always seen black used for the dash-board tops on the 25th Anniversario - I think I have posted a color sampler for the PPG colors used on the 25th within this thread, there wasn't a color chart per se as with other car companies Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you, Joe. Much appreciated. Of the two, Champagne and Crema, which is darker? And, is the darker of the two similar to Ferrari's Cuoio or not that dark?
I think Champagne is the more golden richer shade, no, it's not as dark as Ferrari Cuoio, lots of examples in the thread.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I made an observation that certain US 25th Anniversary engines have “Lamborghini” painted I’m red while other are not. Does anyone know the reason for this?
I assume that the paint options are from 1987 but I have the feeling that they were the same for 1989. The leather sample is from early diablos, maybe that helps. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This was my friends first time in a Countach, so I brought him out to one of my favorite roads in West Marin.
