I mean anybody who has a 25th with standard seats should know these will be available (assuming the car will not be restored)
BTW I have still two 25th door sills from a crashed 25th, the car was taken to pieces in Ireland, burgundy red car about 8 years ago. http://www.countach.ch/Sale.html
Yes, I bought them from a scrap yard seller in UK/Ireland, the car was burgundy, wanted to install them in GLA12997. Got it but do not have any parts left except what is listed on the site, please contact Emilio he can organize a awesome number of parts.
ok you make me wanna keep mine. wish i cld get from liking it to loving it. my eyes go for the pre 87s
That’s a great comparitive view of the last two Countach models. The 25th’s engine lid looks more cohesive to the rest of the cars redesign. The QV’s brutalist bump was a somewhat backwards step design wise when compared to the earlier cars.
On the website it was valued at 300k, I cannot think it made anywhere near that but cannot find a price on the website
Yes, it is a great image. I think the Downdraft's Power Dome is a brilliant integration of the Countach's existing trapezoidal lines, with the new engine bay dome & main vent using the same style of slats as used elsewhere on the car's body, all the while retaining the aggressive crispness of the rest of the car Image Unavailable, Please Login

Interesting how opinions and tastes vary (nothing wrong with that). Though, for me, the downdraft engine cover is the one design feature that made me love it above all other Countach’s. It’s really amazing.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Joe - what is this blue band on the cigarette lighter and where can one get them, please? Thanks.
I love the Downdraft's engine bay cover, one of the most iconic automotive detail features of all time IMO, it gives the Downdraft instant recognition. That said, I love the carbureted 25ths engine bay cover also, it works well with the rest of that car as designed by Horacio Pagani. It's the cigarette duty seal, I think Dugan will get it for you. Here's KLA12748, Max Bobnar's Anniversario Speciale, Rosso Perlato, red Sabelt 4-point harnesses, color-coded wheels and blueprinted engine good for 490 bhp, the car was sanctioned as a special build by Lee Iaccocca for Max's 50th birthday, which must have been some party Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
