The fine print says salvage title. I think this one was in Florida (or Louisiana ) several years ago?
Yes, I did not see that at first because it was on my phone. Plus, no mention of title issues in the description. Read the carFax, saw the issues. I guess this is what a branded titled Countach goes for
I believe this car is KLA12477, North Carolina-registered NVRL8AGN > Florida > Louisiana > Arizona > California.
Since the information of the accident was not disclosed in the description, I asked about it. This was the response: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login New message from: classicthrottle (168 Image Unavailable, Please Login ) This Lamborghini was most recently purchased by Bruce Canepa at Canepa.com approximately four years ago, and serviced and detailed at their facility. It was purchased with a clear (non-salvage) Mississippi Title from one of Bruce's clients, which it still has. However, the car was previously involved in an accident with minor damage to the front right, and very minor damage to the rear. The owner at that time no longer wanted the car and opted for the insurance company to write a check and report it as Salvage. The car was then repaired and sold in Mississippi, and issued a clean Title (as was normal at that time in that State). The car currently shows no sign of accident damage underneath or with regards to panel fit, and runs and drives as it should. I would say that the repair work is of a high quality factory standard, although there are no records of exactly what was done. The car is finished in its original color, and offers an opportunity to purchase a very nice Countach Anniversary model at a discount. Considering the prior damage history, all offers will be considered, and inspections and test drives are welcomed at the Canepa location in Scotts Valley, CA. I noted in the description, under the Title disclosure, that the car has a Salvage Title due to the Carfax stating so, but it actually has, and is being sold with the current clear Mississippi Title. If you would like to see an extensive photo gallery of the car, please provide your email address, so that I can send you a link to download the images. What is disconcerting is the reference of original color after joe said this was a Rosso Countach.
Not a big deal but the car has been posted about previously in both this thread and in the main Countach thread, no surprises here as it's history is known, meanwhile, given the price they are asking this might be a good way for someone to get a Countach inexpensively.

Agreed, beeing a 30 year old car,its all about inspection, knowing this cars have a speedometer mec cable(think bicycle) if this car has been repaired, but if mec nice and done right, this might be somebodys lucky day.

The front end of the car is all wrong (perhaps a light front accident) but the price is right. This would be a nice car to fix up a little more and then enjoy. I actually think the color really suits the car.
Argento in England - this car has been extensively enjoyed, I would love to know the mileage, I bet it is quite high, note the owner has opted for the new P7s! Image Unavailable, Please Login

Not sure if anyone has seen more details of the totalled Yellow Anniversary but as mentioned before, its now at Eurospares and has already been dismantled. The engine is priced at £75000 GBP and doors are £8000 GBP apiece! thanks Joe, I had seen that but I was wondered if anyone knew details such as whether the occupants were ok and what caused the crash e.g was it hit by another car/was there a malufunction/did it hit a diesel spill or something?
