I gave up looking fir the Champion A59G years ago. After talking with several folks, they recommended either the Bosch 7700 (I bought 24 plugs years ago when Joe Nastasi was selling off all their Lamborghini inventory). so ive listened to this a hundred times - the FI with ansa sounds better than the yellow car. am i the only one who thinks that? my car is getting dynoed in the next few days...
Under full load the carbs sound very cool all opened up. What I’ve always hated is the chirping sound at idle, sound is subjective though! In this is case I agree that the white Anni sounds amazing.

Ohhhh I love that, and it disappears on open throttle and comes right back on idle, a sort of beautiful induction whistle, a horn section symphony to me. You hear this same sound on a Miura SVJ with open pipes.

I probably shouldn't have said "record price". It didn't sell. But it was bid up to the the highest number I've seen for an Anniversario. Or at least I'm assuming a buyer raised their hand and bid $500k, the seller wanted more than the highest bid, no sale and recorded as such.
fwiw i dont personally read too much into the saudi auctions. nebulous stuff goes in even at US an EU auctions. who in their right mind wld buy a high price car at a saudi auction? in general the entire show was managed poorly and largely a **** show from what my friends who attended said...
