Countach 25th Anniversario

Looks like the example KLA12988 from gullwing which was advertised in 2017. It came from Brunei.

 

For sure the rest of the dash is all buckled too close to and around the air vents.

 

I wonder what his (real) thoughts are on that rear bumper.

Agreed. I actually don’t mind the rear of the 25th. It’s my favorite part of the car. I think he did an excellent job of it compared to the other changes on the car from the QV.

 

While I agree it was better than the DOT toasters, it was one thing that really put me off a 25th and made me want a QV. Odd though that I have a Diablo and don't mind the rear bumper.

 

Hi Joe, yes. Have a look at studio434.co.uk - he has great photos of the cars there. Interesting collection - IIRC he used to have several 6 headlight model Aston Martin Lagondas. Nice to see a second photo of you in your Countach youth!! Robert

Although, I suppose this photos does confirm that wings were in fact applied on the factory property.

 

I have a more profound question. Here are two photos of 16 completed Countach Anniversary's parked in a 4 x 4 block. One from the front, and one from the rear...

Now, bearing in mind in both, you can see the green car is RHD (there were only 2 made in green in RHD), is it me or....

... in both photos there are exactly 7 red, 4 black, 4 white and one green car in the 4x4 block of cars?

...but the cars are parked in a different order, and in one photo only one has a rear wing and in the other photo two have rear wings, so they are taken on different days.

What a bizarre coincidence...?

I think the more likely answer to your observation, even through they may both have ultra rare green RHD cars, is that they are a different set cars taken at a different time. I’m also guessing, given the popularity of certain colors from that era, that the ratio of colors (red, black, etc.) was likely a common mix, hence the same combination.

 

Maybe it's my eyes/screen/something, but I'm not convinced the car in the second picture is green. Looks more blue to my eyes.

I thinks its been about 10 years since we heard anything about this poor 25th. Anyone know if its still outside? Updates?
