results really show the polarization of the anny design. If you like it, this is a wonderful thing bc the anny drives great, and its much less expensive.

I always wish to love something others dont!

The Anni, over time, is growing on me. Some colours suit it better than others.

  13. The car is worth more to me than the 860k 87. I'd love to see sport seats in this one, I'll admit, but white on white, is pretty sweet. 10 days to go, 630k bid, plenty of time.

Crazy coincidence that I noticed. I was looking at the receipt for the water pump rebuild on this car and noticed the VIN number. It ends with KLA12002. My car is GLA12002.

Not saying this Anni is worth more than 860k. 860k was nuts, imo, for that car.

A photoshopped pic of a white dd Anni that has been circulating around the net for awhile.

Roughly 200 of the 657 or so 25th Anniversaries are Fuelies, which underscores the value of carbureted Countachs, even though they are more prolifically produced, they bring more as this BAT auction will reaffirm.

You'll win the Cannonball Run award!

Once in a while a true Countach jewel is uncovered, in this case it's 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary KLA12797 which belonged for many years to our European client, until recently when we received the call to find it a new home at last. I must say this gentleman is the epitome of a sympathetic & knowledgeable caretaker, and the car is supremely well-preserved, a Countach Holy Grail as they can only be original and in this condition once.

    Chassis number KLA12797.
Engine number 1788, carbureted Downdraft unit.
    Production number 1709.
Finished in Nero Metallizzato with Rosso leather interior and black piping, a stunning combination, factory production register notes:
Nero Metallizatto / Rosso con filetti pelle Neri.
Completed at Sant Agata on September the 9th 1989.
Delivered to Walter Wolf Ventures, Wuppertal, Germany, on the 11th of October 1989.
Meticulously maintained by our client the current Lamborghini enthusiast custodian for the past 17 years sharing a stable with other icons such as Miura SV, Countach LP400, Diablo SE30 etc, it remains in as new condition with just under 950 miles on the clock.
Totally original down to the 1989 factory cigarette lighter paper duty tag.
Flawless paint which shows the composite material weave in all the composite panels.
The 2-peice wheels are all unmarked and as-new without delamitation or crazing of of the clear-coat.
Unblemished leather interior showing no wear and perfect panel fitment, complimented with crystal clear gauges.
All original hoses & clamps still fitted, cad-plating still an as-new gold hue in an utterly clean engine bay and front compartments.
New PZeros have been fitted but the original PZeros which prove this car has travelled just over900 miles come with the car.
The car performs flawlessly and everything electrical works.
All factory ancillaries are present, including the warranty book showing Walter Wolf Ventures delivery which still has the 1989 factory warranty sticker in it, all the Alpine radio & cassette manuals are present, the Lamborghini leather pouch with owner's manual is present, a rare 25th Anniversary brochure comes with the package, a folder with all service records, 2 sets of keys, and a full set of pristine & complete tools.
In over 30 years of specializing in Countachs, this is surely the nicest conditioned Countach of any variant I have encountered, the ultimate collector's dream. Recently serviced and in pristine condition, this Countach does not require any reconditioning work or deferred maintenance whatsoever and only requires placement into the ultimate collection.

We supplied it to our good friends at Curated https://wearecurated.com/inventory/available/? so if anyone is looking for the best Countach in the world please contact John.
