well, since your journey has been going on for a year now, a couple of weeks will not make a difference...so take your time considering the somewhat limited resources you had available - to say the least - it is simply incredible what you have achieved so far ! congrats !
A picture of the "finalized" restoration would be great ;-) Engine sound was absolutely gorgeous, thx a lot for that !
Reading this tread is just unreal!!!!!! WOW you have just pulled of a a insane thing with limited tools.
HI , i dont give news since 8 month , but now i can give you video . If you have 6mn , i shall happy you write me your comment [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DAJ4wpWv48[/ame] thanks
If that sound does not give you real, actual goose bumps, you are not a car enthusiast. That's it. That's all of it. Case closed. You are not a gearhead. As for the story of the restoration, its heartwarming to say the least. No offense to anyone, but let's face it, all too often cars like these were sold (and still are) sold to old wealthy guys with no passion and simply wish to reflect their status. Garage queens are prisoners! To see just a normal guy put in this tremendous amount of work with his own two hands over the course of two years of his life is sincerely moving to me as a car guy. The bond between man and machine must be palpable. Pardon me for taking liberites, but I'd think its fair to say that this car will own his heart for the rest of his days on this Earth. The very essence of the passion that is evoked by cars such as these is demonstrated here in perfect fashion. Thanks for giving me such a happy feeling as I retire for the night! Kind Regards to All, Nick
That was awesome! Congratulations, all that hard work paid off and you can now enjoy what only a few of us have been fortunate enough to appreciate and experience.
At the end of the video you can thanks me too for the "sponsorship "... as you NEVER return me the parts I refund you. So, you NEVER respect your words and you still own me a bunch of , if you are honest you shoud send my money back !!! What ever is the quality of your work & enthusiasm, for me you are just a CRO... that is it !
Wow!!!! Nice to see all your hard work pay off. The car looks and sounds great. Great skills put to use here... makes me wonder why people give up on cars that start off in much better shape. Congrats!
