That was my original point, your car is currently Blu Metallizzato (not Tahiti or Acapulco) and the subject of this thread looks to now be in a color exactly like yours. Regardless, its beautiful, despite the color question.
So it returned back to the factory for a repaint, did it have a privat owner when it was Red, or was it owned by Lamborghini?

Wow the blue/red look will be awesome when it gets put back together. Funny how cars change hue in different lighting
Put a big spider-man logo on the hood LOL, wait Superman uses red and blue as well, never mind put a big S logo on there for SuperCar
Must say I was a little disappointed when I heard of the colour change to blue...but this looks fabulous. Beautiful crisp lines on the body and look forward to seeing the headlights put back in ;-) Great effort by the people involved.
It was a gamble for sure, but I wanted a change from the norm. I am really super happy with the combo get to see the car in person on Sunday.
remember to re-spray the matt black skewed stripe on top of the side air vent - 90% of shops forget to do this during the re-paint
Just come back from ALSA this morning to take a look at the car, the car is even better than in the pictures as the blue changes so much with the lighting. Al has done an absolutley amazing job turing this car around - just amazing. We are trying to get complete for some time in Feb, but no major rush as the weather in the UK today has been shocking! The rear engine lid and boot need to be painted plus the ears. Then all the glass surrounds and grilles will be re-painted plus the Naca ducts, door frames etc. The interior needs the door casings re-fitting and then the side panels. A thorough clean then MOT and we should be good to go. Lots of little bits that all take time!
Hum, I don't like that combo ... Sorry. And morover, I seldom like red interior, almost never: Black exterior with Red interior: Too Batmobile Red exterior with Red interior: Too red White exterior with Red interior: barely ok Blue and white interior are very nice IMVHO ... Anyways, congrats if you are happy with it! Enjoy!
