Is that a 365BB or a 512BB next to it?

Makes a good pair of 12's either way!

Steel 308 to one side, Bora the other both in for bare metal resprays. I think Al also has a 250gte, Jenson Interceptor and an Alfa GTV at the moment.

I can't believe I forgot all about this thread. That colour combination is absolutely stunning! Great work by Al once again.

Trunk lid and engine cover now painted, plus indicator frame parts in place. The rear grilles are being re-made as they have warped to a degree we are not really happy with.

Repaired grilles plus newly fabricated rear grilles completed, if anyone else is interested in new rear grilles Al now has a jig to re-manufacture these as they do seem to warp with age (please pm me for details)

Nice work. Now that it's almost together it looks amazing.

I noticed that you had the chrome rod door struts back on. Did you use the old ones or were you able to find new ones?

We used the old ones as they were perfectly serviceable and hold the doors so no real need to replace. Hopefully just a couple of weeks away now, but then got to find a break in the weather to pick her up.

Simon, these deform from people leaning on them, usually people working on the engine.

Not far now, all new grilles going in, plus all satin black done. We have had some small finishers made like daytona's to cover the slightly untidy sill flanges.

Just read the entire thread - beautiful work. I bet you are ready to have it back. I smiled reading your second post when you mentioned that it would take about 12 weeks, now almost done in over 24 months. It always takes longer than you think it should!

Its awesome that you don't have a wing on it, keeps the car more true to its form :D

It'll be awesome once you have the wing on it, that'll return the car to its true form
