If I buy a Countach with US "ugly" bumpers... can I yank those off legally and put on euro style ones?

It is done all the time, now whether its legal or not I don't know. If I were to guess I would imagine that it is not according to the DOT. That being said I highly doubt that if your state inspects vehicle annually that they are going to go to this extreme. So if and when you buy another Countach and it has the bumpers please remove them ASAP, or forever hear "Great looking car, but when are you going to remove those hideous bumpers?" Sincerely Vic

With a US QV car, it is not a problem to install the better looking factory set-up, which will look like the Euro RoW 1989 car. The strip is still available from the factory.

The US rear set up, presents all kinds of problems (unless it is an Anniversario car). It is not too bad, if you remove just the two outer boxes.
