I did a search and didn't come up with anything.
anyone know if the CV joints on the Countach are also used on another car. they look the same as the ones on my 308, which are the same as the Porsche 930.

A long time ago I heard they were Porsche 930, but I have not verified it.

  3. Pretty sure it is a 930 cv joint. You can buy an off market version of it for less than $100 & try it.

Only use CV joints made by GKN (GKN Löbro supplies original GKN parts for the global replacement of automotive/industrial CV Joint shafts, joint kits and boot kits.) (there are other 'brands' but not recommended at all)

Just count the splines, measure (in mm) the length(how tall) and diameter, find match and you're in; good sources include rockauto.com and carparts.com and others like pelicanparts and worldpac

Crosses do include 930 and BMW

BTW, torn or not, the grease in the CV boots will 'cake' over time, if last change more than 10 years ago, it is time to refresh, eventually the grease will not only cake but separate allowing the bearings to overheat and wear out
