countach door lock problem

The door striker can be adjusted or replaced.

 

Are you saying when you pull the door down it won't latch and remain shut, or once the door is shut and you push the "door lock" button on the center console the locks won't activate and/or stay activated/locked?

edit...anymore pics and details of your car.

 

+1 with 2NA, see if a screw has come loose and the striker shifted. Your car looks brand new, I would hate to think would be worn and require replacing.

Maybe check the weather stripping, make sure its all in place and the door swing isn't obstructed...but sounds like an adjustment.

 

first of all grease the mechanism that's in 99% the reason... (my QV had several times the same, but only with the passenger side door)

 

Had same prob when i bought mine Striker plates come loose.

 

Not sure on the later cars but a #1 Philips head and a flat head for the crank and the door panel is off....EZ.
