    The whole process has been a journey, the most satisfying part of which has been being hands-on throughout.

    Of course, its not been without challenges and lots of hard work, but hopefully the best is yet to come when we start to 'build' the car and put all the components back together.

    Congratulations to the new owner of GLA12888 (a neat chassis number), a rare Nero Tenebre/Nero Downdraft that is headed off straight into a full restoration to return it to its original glory. This car marks the 2nd DD in the current owner's collection.

    What a great image to highlight the rear lens caulking drains I have been talking about.

    The black 88.5 DD is Rick Lee's JLA12396, and the white DD in the background you can just about see is JLA12307.

    That spare wheel serves a practical purpose.
