The original Looks much better: Lamborghini Countach #GLA12997 LCS Still thinking about buying a KTM xBow
The Countach Downdraft is driven by the famed Stanislao Sterzel alongside other Lamborghini giants in what I'm sure will pass to be known as an iconic feature by Ruoteclassiche magazine Ruoteclassiche | Ruoteclassiche Anyone know whose Padova-registered with color-coded mirrors DD this is? There is nothing like a good magazine article to stoke dreams. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The photo-shoot was done at Vairano, where Lamborghini, especially the Countach, has a long history from the days of the LP500 and Bob Wallace. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Another who looks like he knows what he is doing with a Downdraft engine, who knows the name of this man? Clue: initials LB. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Joe, I think your mixing up Vairano with Varano de Melegari, the later owned by the Dallara family. The pictures of the review were taken at Vairano (PV) whereas Bob tested the LP500 frequently in Varano, getting the keys from Gian-Paolo Dallara. In the countach thread some pictures of the LP500 were shown lapping in Varano. https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autodromo_di_Vairano: L'autodromo di Vairano – noto anche come Automotive Safety Center – è un circuito automobilistico di proprietà della rivista Quattroruote. Gian Paolo Dallara, together wit his father Ennio, is one of the partners and founders, and he is still very involved with all activities of the circuit.
Thanks for that pointer Raymond, you are right. The difference an "i" can make. It would have been even better if it was Varano instead of Vairano!
Emilio, another one for you, Asti (?) registered Downdraft with red interior, do you know this one also? Image Unavailable, Please Login

....mmm i am now thinking there was a red QV in Italy i went to see around 2008 but i do think it had a black interior.
This was a similar lineup at the 40th. I was asked by the factory to park my car (black DD) in the front row. Right next to me was a purple SE30 and a new Murci. The front row Miura from Belgium had a SV emblem but it did not seem to have the SV wide rear quarter panels. Image Unavailable, Please Login
