Correct. The latter. Where the sill meets the body panel. Interesting also how consistent all 4 corners where
Nils, check this out, I found some dimensions from one of the other factory DGM sheets Ing. Luigi Marmiroli sent me, and I will forward these (in high-res large size) to my restorer as well as your info. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My understanding is Mrs Pagani bought this Anniversary as a present for Mr. Pagani, so as to complete the collection of Horacio Pagani designed cars on display at the Pagani museum being created at the new factory building.
Along similar lines, I just completed the sale of a Miura to a lady purchasing it for her husband's 50th birthday and their 25th wedding anniversary!
I just found out that the height for the non-lowbody cars is influenced by minimum light & reflector height requirements for TUV and DOT mandates of various jurisdictions Conveniently, ground-clearance and usability improved accordingly. Image Unavailable, Please Login

88.5 Downdraft UK-registered F 920 OYR, chassis number ZA9C005A0JLA12399, first UK-registered on August the 1st, 1988. I personally saw this car a number of times when it was new 28 years ago, and it still looks quite good. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some have two, but I think the 2nd unit is a post-production application Image Unavailable, Please Login
The car is looking how i expected Joe- which to say amazing.. Which in case you didnt know, was what we all were expecting from you. I cant wait to see it someday- i assume there will be a birthday party for the Countach in the year 2021? (I believe would be the next big year)- and i hope to bring a few countachs your way for that if it happens.
Thank you very much for the kind words Ken. No question there needs to be a Countach-focused event! I don't have as much time these days, but 16 years ago we staged a memorable Miura reunion, then 7 years ago we did a memorable 288 GTO Reunion, and I think the Countach calls for something special at some point. 2021 will be the 50th Anniversary of the debut of the Countach concept. However, 2019 will be the 45th Anniversary of the Countach's production, and, 2020 will be the 35th Anniversary of the Downdraft's production, so there are a number of years that can be celebrated. All that said, I think Downdraft owner Rob has the best idea with his Countach Lunch he stages in the UK every year. After all, who needs a specific reason to get a field of Countachs together? I think I will make it over for one of his events, and I bet it will grow in attendance with each passing year. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I must remember to give Rob's event a plug, anyone with a Countach in the UK should make it! Contact Rob directly, details here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/lamborghinichat-com-sponsored-cats-exotics/510830-2016-countach-reunion-lunch.html and I think Countach owners in Europe are not too far away to consider attendance. Rob I know how much work goes into organizing events, so a big thanks to you for the work you're doing for the community in Championing the cause of the Countach! Image Unavailable, Please Login
AUTOCAR magazine (UK) independently came up with its own set of dimensions, very useful as a cross reference. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Cleaned the other day. I always admire the madness of the design of this car. What were they smoking at the time? Image Unavailable, Please Login

Excellent video by Harry showing what it takes to care for his Downdraft (also posted elsewhere). Very nice to see many correct-for-period details on this nice example, and, its great to see how many of these cars have fallen into the hands of such passionate custodians, it bodes well for them.
