Yes, I do own one (LP500s #12557 -Rosso Siviglia/ Bianco)... As I am doing a nut and bolt restoration on the car (as time permits) I think it is more accurate to say that it owns me;-)
Its one of the last classic-bodied Countachs made, great to see a Downdraft from Emilia Romagna in the USA!
Most of it shaky- a few good moments though- a Countach showing it can play around a little to - https://youtu.be/SmIvczZAkVU
Michael, any chance the owner would allow you to share some pictures of the work being done on the white on red DD?

Is Steve Corby on this forum? I would love to get in touch with him to see his beast when I visit Melbourne!!
Stephen Corby doesn't own it himself, he's the journalist who tested it for Wheels magazine, but I bet he could point you towards the owner.

I had my QV at the ignition car festival in Glasgow over the past three days. I drove it on the circuit up to about 105mph. It was amazing how much interest the old girl generated. It also featured in the event guide for the event and the closing video. Despite mclaren P1 etc. Such an iconic old girl. People really appreciated hearing it red line down the straights and chase other cars. I know I am speaking to the converted but good to drive her flat out around Glasgow.....legally......

Ah Bugger! I just want a friendly Aussie Countach owner that will let me take a look at their bull. JamesArk here on the forum is a great GREAT guy and spent 3 hours with him and his old 25th anni. I just want see that an lp500s up close and personal, in the museum I was only allowed to stand behind the ropes.
It's basically an Entech Battery unit in disguise, as seen in some German cars here, topside stickers removed and residue cleaned, FIAMM sticker applied.
