Countach FIRE in CT!??

Well, looks like its been over a year since we've had an update. Thought I'd drag this thread back up to see if the car has another foot of snow on it this winter.....

Nothing on my part. The guy moved and car has been unseen since. We should have gotten a VIN on that.

 

I got some info a little while back. Let's just say it is not the happiest story and I wont details here for respect for a few friends and the car is off limits anyhow.

 

Off limits as in impounded by police? Bankruptcy court?

The Countach is like the Groundhog , making it through all those winters hehe

Funny how with the neglect, the value has still soared hehe

 

think of it as copart state

 

Any groundhog sightings this year, maybe Countach Anniversarios in some fresh snow drifts again?

 

This is as sad as the abandoned DD i saw (white on white no less!!!!) UGH!

Actually a gentleman coming here knows more than I do. He can chime in if he feels like it .. or call me for a drink.
All I can say is the car has been seriously molested in 2015 (and this time no fault of the owner) and that some people have been trying to help. Sometime you can bring the horse to the water but you cannot force him to drink.

yikes... all while it was stuck outside an enclosed garage that was full of junk

 

I hope whoever it is chimes in, because this has me more curious than ever to know what happened to this poor car.

 

This guy clearly is in it for the attention. I'm definitely in the "It's a free country do what you want with your possessions" camp. I think it's absurd to leave it outside, but it it is what it is. If I were his neighbor, I would actually find it amusing more than anything else. But after a month or so, it's just something that your neighbors will be annoyed with, and he knows it.

 

I wonder if John Temerian knows this 25th

Man! just got an email with your post!... Have been away for a while. Have to catch up..
That car was sold a few time locally as prices went up. Got fixed up. Then was advertised for a nice sale back a year or 2 ago. I saw the ad and contacted the people I knew here. Not sure who bought it. I was not really interested in anything, just being curious..
So anyone who bought a white Anniv from a certain part of CT about 2 years ago (pre-covid if I remember well ?)then then likely own that car! congratulation and welcome aboard!
