I will never understand why people post 4 sale items without a price? Can anybody give me a good reason?

So you're overcharging and don't want folks to point it out. Understandable :)

Is gold worth the same amount it was in 2010? They are his parts and they are worth what someone will pay. I will admit I prefer seeing ads with prices, but it's not a requirement and it's the seller's choice to post or not.

What I don't get is why so many people feel it's ok to berate someone's choice or the price if they do post it. That should not be acceptable.

Just my .02 cents. But maybe I have that over valued too??

It's annoying, they are selling something without the single most important piece of information. Some guy was selling wheels on here and I had to go to the trouble of PM'ing to find out he was asking a stupid price, I'd rather know that up front. If someone posts the price I'd never comment on that, totally their choice.

I moderate another car forum and we have a rule that a price must be posted. However, we also have another rule that no one is to criticize the asking price. I agree with other sentiments that it's far less frustrating to see a posted price. Is it not more irritating to get 40 PMs asking what your price is than to see 2 or 3 posts suggesting your asking price is too high?

It could also be better for the seller, a buyer might be thinking of a crazy high price, but yet the seller does not want that much and a deal can be quickly struck.

Are the people complaining about not posting prices ACTUALLY in the market for these wheels? If your not, why complain? you wouldn't be buying them anyways..

No, we are not complaining, we are just pointing out the fact that there are many sellers posting ads for items for sale without posting a price?

Although I can understand your frustration on not seeing a price quoted I can give you a couple good reasons as to not post one.

First the seller Emilio lives in Italy so some of this has to do with fluctuations in the exchange rates between the dollar and the Euro.

Secondly as Emilio has pointed out "i stopped putting price on the thread since when people was asking me about stuff i put for sale years before and they insisted i had to sell at 2010 prices"
Again it boils down to supply and demand as well as the exchange rate on currency.

More and more of these types of parts are becoming obsolete therefore they are worth more money as they become more and more scarce.

I for one do not have any problem with a seller making whatever the market will bear.

If you owned a Countach for several years would you sell it today for last years prices?
If so you would leave at least $50,000.00 on the table if not more depending on the year and model.

Just my 2 or 3 cents, depending on the going exchange rate. ;)
