    need location of throttle/idle ajustment screw. need pic of exact location...i dont want to dial up or down the wrong screw. countach idles above 2000..want to dial it down.

    Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak.

    it's easy to find just follow the linkage. I think its at the end of the intake manifold.
    its just a screw that presses on the linkage pivot point pulling it more open or
    shut. it is not attached to anything inside the engine. There should be one for each side.
    you should be able to adjust it down in about 3seconds using your fingers.I don't have a pic

    Did you manage to sort this? My 88.5 carb QV has developed high idle after winter hibernation.
